We Need Your Support!

With the rising cost of doing business, we need your support to keep the mission of the Northland Journal alive for future generations.

The Northland Journal is more than a business; it is a community institution. Founded in 2002, when most people think about our monthly magazine, they think about how we share and preserve the history of VT’s Northeast Kingdom, but there is FAR more to our mission than that. It also serves as a valuable forum to give our seniors a voice, including sharing their memories with younger generations. It is a great educational tool.

The publisher, Scott Wheeler, is also the volunteer host of a weekly local TV show - the Northeast Kingdom Voice, and a weekly regional radio show - the Vermont Voice, in which he gives guests time to share their stories, as well as having guests on to talk about events and happenings relating to the Northeast Kingdom.

The feedback we get from people about the Journal is so heartwarming. It touches so many lives. And I believe the Journal, including the several Northeast Kingdom books it has also published, makes our region richer—through the preservation of its history, culture, and stories. The Journal has attracted the attention of media outlets from around New England and beyond.

Please consider donating to our mission. You can donate right here on this site, or you can mail it to VT's Northland Journal, PO Box 812, Derby, VT 05829.
